A New Concept in Worcester
The same owners of Mexicali Mexican Grill in Spencer have now opened Toro Loco Taqueria, a new restaurant concept in downtown Worcester offering authentic Mexican food made by first- and second-generation Mexican-Americans. Toro Loco is a new project with a menu completely different to its predecessor, offering burritos, tacos, quesadillas and Mexican street corn, all with the “most authentic flavors.”
Generations of Family Recipes
The owners, Miguel Perez and his wife Denise Medina, devised their recipes from their families' roots in Union de Tula, Jalisco, Mexico. The menu is inspired by home-cooking: “Growing up, I remember spending so much time playing in the kitchen while watching my mother and grandmother cook. Their love of food and my love of their food inspired me to carry on the family tradition of bringing people together as a restaurant owner with a deep passion of serving the community," says Perez.
